The Brazilian butt lift has been one of the most frequently performed operations in the world in recent years. The Brazilian Butt Lift is the most natural and physiological buttock augmentation method.

Developed on the basis of Brazilian buttocks, the Brazilian butt lift (BBL) is performed using the person's own fat.

How Is It Performed?

First, fat is harvested with liposuction from areas of the body such as the hips, saddlebags, abdomen and back, and the harvested fat is processed in a special system. The purified fat is placed into the buttocks by injection. As the areas from which fat was harvested become slimmer, the buttocks become more defined.

Before the procedure, the desired shape of the buttocks is planned. After the shapes are drawn on the buttocks with a carbon pencil, the operation is started according to this plan. The operation can be performed under local or general anaesthesia.

In all BBL operations performed for contouring or volume augmentation, liposuction is first carried out with fine cannulas from the areas where fat is to be harvested. The harvested fat is then put through a purification process and transferred by microinjection to the planned areas of the buttocks. One litre of fat is transferred per hour.

The operation takes about 4 hours on average.
