Breast reduction surgery (reduction mammoplasty) is a surgical procedure performed to eliminate the physical and aesthetic problems caused by large and heavy breasts.   2. Lollipop (vertical) incision — In moderate reductions
  3. T-shaped (anchor) incision — In larger breasts

  • Patients are usually discharged the same day or after staying one night in hospital.
  • Mild pain, swelling and tenderness may occur in the first days.
  • The use of a special surgical bra is recommended.
  • Most patients can return to their daily lives within 1-2 weeks.
  • Waiting 4-6 weeks for strenuous exercise is advised.
